Abstract
The study was conducted on 400 garment workers from 4 garment companies in Thai Binh through a cross-sectional survey to investigate some risk factors for chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities in workers at some factories. Thai Binh garment company.
Results: Women with a high school education or higher, the higher the age at work, the standing posture at work, the lack of exercise between hours, and the more clinical symptoms were the univariate risk factors that increase the likelihood of developing the disease. The results of multivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between chronic venous insufficiency in the lower extremities of workers with standing or sitting working positions. Besides, there was also a relationship between workers with a number of clinical symptoms of 1, 2, 3, and over 3 and chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities and those in the group without clinical symptoms. The number of clinical symptoms was positively correlated with the clinical severity corresponding to the CEAP grade.
