Abstract
Objectives: (1) To describe the current status of completing the cardiovascular intervention safety checklist at Hanoi Medical University Hospital; (2) To investigate factors associated with the completion of the cardiovascular intervention safety checklist.
Subjects and Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on patients undergoing cardiovascular interventions at Hanoi Medical University Hospital – Ton That Tung campus, from April to May 2025.
Results: The study included 572 patients and assessed the checklist completion rate at three time points: before, during, and after the intervention. The results showed that the completion rate before the intervention was 99.3%, during the intervention was 77.4%, and after the intervention was 59.4%. Factors associated with checklist completion included the type of procedure, duration of the procedure, and post-intervention treatment department.
