Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study was to indicate the value of score CIRS in predicting mortality on the 30th day in elderly patients with pulmonary embolism (PE).
Methods: 72 patients were diagnosed with pulmonary embolism by multislice computed tomography (MSCT) pulmonary artery with contrast-enhanced with 14 mortality (19.4%) in 30 days.
Results: The prognostic value of CIRS was good with AUC 0.88 was not worse than sPESI with AUC 0.75. The CIRS index was also the independent prognostic facteur in predicting mortality on the 30th day in elderly patients with pulmonary embolism.
