Abstract
Background: Several predictors of relapse after catherter ablation of atrial fibrillation have been established, but assessing results of non–paroxysmal AF remains challenging. Our aim was to assess of some risk score such as: CAAP-AF, APPLE, MB-LATER, FLAME, ATLAS to estimate the risk of AF recurrence during 6 months after the first radiofrequency pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) procedure of non-paroxysmal AF.
Methods: 32 patients with a diagnosis of non-paroxysmal AF and the first PVI procedure at the Vietnam Heart Institute to stratify the risk of recurrence AF according to CAAP-AF, APPLE, MB-LATER, FLAME, ATLAS score during 6 months after procedure.
Results: The MB-LATER, ATLAS score were shown to be good prodictors of AF recurrence during 6 months after the first radiofrequency pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) procedure of non-paroxysmal AF
