Abstract
Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease has become a significant public health concern in Vietnam. To address this issue, prevention strategies should focus on improving the quality of primary care. Family physicians play a crucial role in examining individuals from a young age, actively participating in screening, early detection, and management of atherosclerosis, while also providing consultation and education to improve understanding of disease prevention. In general, the involvement and quality of the primary care system are essential in the screening and prevention of atherosclerosis.
