Abstract
Heart failure, a prevalent global health issue affecting over 64 million people worldwide1 and the leading single cause of hospitalization in the USA and Europe. Previously regarded as a dismal condition, the heart failure prognosis was often compare to many cancers. In the past few years, heart failure has undergone a revolution with some new medications and device-based therapies. In 2023, although the number of “blockbuster” studies has begun to decline, many other advances in cardiology had links to heart failure.
